AC Milan consider one last transfer gift

AC Milan are still evaluating the signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch who is looking to leave the German club.

Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada conduced a sensational summer shopping campaign despite the general skepticism following their promotion after the departure of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. AC Milan have so far completed 9 transfers while documents are being signed to make Porto striker Mehdi Taremi the 10th purchase of the Rossoneri.

Nevertheless, there might be room for something more. AC Milan are still considering the signing of another midfielder. Milan will be without the services of Ismael Bennacer until next year and at the same time have received a very tempting offer from Lyon for Rade Krunic. That’s why Milan are looking around for options with Ryan Gravenberch on their orbit.

BILD reports that AC Milan have never lost sight of Ryan Gravenberch. After an inquiry took place in July, Milan still hope an on opening form Bayern Munich in the last day of the summer mercato. Gravenberch has been quite vocal about his desire to play regularly elsewhere and is pushing to leave Bayern Munich.

The German club has so far rejected loan offers insisting that Ryan Gravenberch can only leave permanently in case of an offer in the excess of €30 million. Despite the interest of several clubs, everyone has been reluctant to spend a high figure for a player that failed to live up to expectations at Bayern after excelling at Ajax.

Liverpool and Manchester United are also strongly interested in Gravenberch besides AC Milan. All interested clubs believe Bayern Munich will ultimately agree to let the 21-year-old central midfielder leave on loan. Time i ticking and Gravenberch’s agent Enzo Raiola is moving to find a solution that pleases all parties.
